SOOOO..

Just to catch up with you guys :)

First off I thought I'd say that almost everything on that list down there for my summer missions has been completed!

Only two more things left!- PERMIT.. DUN DUN DUN DUNNN I'm gonna seriously try to get it before my leave (It'll be my second take but hey, better than not trying am I right?) & the court order business- I think I might ask Con a favor and see if she can take me there ^^;;

On shopping
I finally got the wonderful make up brushes, the cute dress, and the cute shoes XD
yay! :) just wanted to say thanks to you guys cause you made 2/3 of those things happen!
Trust me CK! I will do you justice and make your birthday outfit da bomb! B]

On school
it's already starting! and I am sooo scared that I'm gonna be overloading in stuff.
But I know I can do it. I just gotta prioritize :)

But yes when it comes to work I have a feeling my boss has high expectations- eeps! soo...
I need help! MUST THINK OF IDEAS FOR EVENTS >_< tell me if you guys think of anything fun! I'm also worried that my future partner in crime (aka new coworker) is gonna be a lot of help :/ I heard she's not as experienced as I'd hope she would be so.. let's cross my fingers! ^^;;

On the VSA side of things, I think it should be fine :o) I have an awesome team that I look forward to working with so no worries! ^^
It's just sad that CK won't be with us anymore :(

On Classes
I'm in major excitement to take yoga! FINALLY! ^^Y Hopefully I can get a little more limber after this haha..ha
My work load doesn't seem too trippy so I'm ready! bring it! Ima school school! hahhaa

PHEW. My apologies ladies for being QUITE MIA -_-;;

I'll admit I semi cheated on this blog with Tumblr ^^;;

Anywho I thought I'd come up with something interesting and talk about BRAS :D

HAHA a few years ago ( I think it was Senior year) I was watching Oprah, and she had a show on Bras. It was about how over 80% of women don't wear the right size bra.

Then Someone else went and got fitted and it turned out she was a cup size bigger @_@

and then today I watched a beauty guru on Youtube talk about bra sizing and I just had to post this up- as it may be helpful to us :)

I got this off of a site called the Little Bra Company...
Just so that people know I'm not stealing ^^;; heh

FINDING YOUR SIZE

step one
Take your padded bra off. (No cheating!) With the measuring tape, measure around the top of your rib cage under your breasts. Write this number down and add 4. Round up to the nearest even number. For example, 29 (Your measurement) + 4 = 33. You are a 34.

step two
Now, measure around the fullest part of your breasts (not too tight, not too loose). Make sure the measuring tape is level in the back. Write this number down.

step three
Do the math! (It’s easy, I promise!) Subtract the number from Step Two from Step One. For example. 34 (Step One) –32 (Step Two) = 2. That’s a B cup. Find your cup size on this chart:
Difference Cup Size
1/2 –1 inch A
1-2 inches B

step four
Try on the little bra! Every pair of breasts is unique and everyone has different needs, so try it on and don’t forget to scoop for cleavage!

A Cleaner Brush Means a Cleaner Face :)

So like I've mentioned before, Make up brushes have a ton of bacteria on them accumulated by time.
We use these tools on our faces almost everyday!
Which is why a good clean is pretty important when we think about it
So I thought I'd help present a nice and easy way to wash one's make up brushes :)

It's rather simple, with the help of two easily accessible things:



1. Extra virgin olive oil (organic is probably best, but it's just an option ^^)



2. A gentle baby shampoo or Antibacterial dawn dish soap! :)

the process itself is pretty easy^^
Using evoo, apply on the brushes (I like to just pour it in a little bowl) and brush them onto a paper towel- evoo is a natural make up cleanser, so you'll notice that the make up will begin to break down and rub onto the paper towel which is good!
Continue to do so until there's no more appearances of make up on the paper towel.

After wards, using the shampoo or the dish soap- whatever's available to you cause either one works- apply whichever brush with soap and warm or cold water- Hot water damages your brush. Lather it up and then rinse!

Try not to get any areas above the metal ring around the brush wet because it protects what binds your brush together- the glue. If water gets near it, it can deteriorate and you'll lose your brush's bristles and that means bad brush :(

After that's done, try to thoroughly dry your brushes of excess water and let them dry- there's another way to do this- which I think is the safer route ( I learned this from Michelle Phan! So credits to her B])
Using brush guards like so ( I guess this makes this a third item, but it's optional)




Place them upside down in a cup and let them dry- not only does this help the brush keep its shape but also allows any excess water to leave the brush for good! :)

but yes I've been listening to a lot of Glee tracks which is making me anticipate the 4th season even more!!... wait.. there is a 4th season right? o_o OMGSOMEONEPLEASETELLMETHEREIS..

MAKE UP.. haha I've been getting obsessed with cosmetics, fashion and etc; this summer lol
There are a ton of things I've been itching to get! haha

Eco-tools make up brushes!Not only are these babies nice and soft, they're eco friendly!- made with bamboo and recycled aluminum. They're also not overpriced and come in a cute case when you buy the sets :)
I'm definitely aiming to get one of these asap! hehehe >:)

speaking of brushes.. something I learned about make up brushes- THEY HAVE MORE BACTERIA ON THEM THAN TOILET SEATS...
and with our faces making a lot of contact with them it's IMPORTANTE that we clean them every so often!

Benefit "That Gal" Brightening Primer!
ARGH I want this baby soo bad.
I've actually used it back in high school to a dance when I got my make up done
If only the darn thing weren't so expensive!- a whoping 28$- which I can afford.. But it equals a brand new outfit.. Sigh.
There may be a question in your mind- what's primer?If you don't quite know what primer is.. it's a layer of makeup you'd wear under your foundation (if you don't wear make up, you can wear it without foundation as well)
It's to help keep make up from wearing out throughout the day- this one also has a plus- it helps brighten your face and gives it a peachy glow!
I honestly love Benefit for it's effectiveness and it's cute packaging!
