Back from HHS lab- my arms feel like they're noodles and I'm pretty dizzy right now, but despite the minor casualties I feel I need to blog now when the feeling is still pretty fresh...

So many feelings were felt last night when we- Christine, Connie & I- got to meet the legendary Wong Fu Productions! I don't even know where to start...

but "let me tell ya..."
it was pretty amazing = )
I can actually say MLR. XD

let's just say there was a lot of blushing and inner screaming and ohmygoshing. ^^

Unfortunately last night was such a rushful time and I was so in the moment, that I don't remember it much... only a few bits and pieces... T.T With only a shirt, a autographs, and a few pictures in my laptop do I have proof that I was there and able to meet the famous Phillip, Wesley and Ted.

I remember when Connie and I ran into some of the others inside the MU because we were in need of an atm machine and then running in the rain to Milam; the moment we saw them for real. in person. standing about 30 feet away in the front of the auditorium. and not being able to believe that they were here! I remember them being exactly as I imagined- cool and collected, yet nervous at the same time...

a few more of every awesome second we had...

When we got our shirts and were standing in line to meet them, Jessica introduced us as her daughters, and we found that they were quite interested in our shirts ^^Y heh~
they even sang happy birthday to Rithya with us~! =D

Connie and Christine got to pass some wisdom off to Phillip and teaching him some jokes to tell their future audiences.. Can't wait to hear them coming from him!

Them saying that they'd mention the banner in their future blog...! If only I was there to be able to contribute -sighs-

Sitting in the audience and making eye contact with Wesley- I literally said "ohmygosh." in my mind. XD

Hearing Phillip say Shia Labouf like "Shia LaBOOF" XD & that OSU beats UO cause beavers can wack ducks with their tails XD

Finding out that Wesley listened to Kpop- Talk. Play. Love! ^^

Hearing Ted say he was from Africa and no one believing him even though it was the truth XD

Noticing that they noticed our shirts almost immediately.

Finding out that the main character from their first music video with Magnetic North went to OSU o.o

Raising our hands to all of their questions.

Finding out that Ted really does mumble XD

Seeing all the special/exclusive videos! ^^

and last but not least- standing in line... again... XDDD
Connie and Christine were too phased that they walked out of the area too soon- right before I remembered that we didn't get their autographs... So we stood in line again. and even took a funny picture- they even asked us to email it to them! ^^Y

I also couldn't believe that Christine, Tommy and Connie got to present the banner to them though! It was quite an envious occasion...
But to tell you the truth...
I'm glad I didn't win cause I think I would be way too nervous to do anything nevertheless hold up a banner knowing the fact that I was standing only a foot away from them ^^;; - sitting with the audience watching them already made me pretty nervous.. ^^;;
I actually have never blushed in my whole entire life until that night... my face was literally the color of the pink of Christine's WF shirt! =.=;;
I could literally feel the heat waves off of my face melting everything that surrounded my face.
and as embarassed as it sounds I'll say it anyway...
I realized...
my deoderant stopped working at some point T.T
and that point was THE POINT- when we finally got to meet them up close... TT.TT
-sighs-
hopefully they didn't notice. TT.TT

There as also another particular event that occured...
Last night..
I didn't dream...
At all.
just plain out black space seen throughout my entire sleep.
when I woke up this morning what happened that night before literally felt like it was the dream. Like it never happened. The moment I woke up, I literally jumped out of bed and ran to my closet to see if my shirt was still there. I smiled the moment I saw those three signatures softly lay ontop of my shirt. I sighed in relief.

To be honest, I dont know if I wanna wash or wear that shirt ever again. ^^;;

I'm pretty tempted to fold it up as is and keep it in my memory box back home...

I'm also happy that they liked our shirts as well.. our hard work payed off! ^^;;
I'll never forget when Wesley called on Connie during the Q&A portion of the night saying "Wong Fu in the red.." XDDD

A very surprising discovery was with one of their personal experiences...
Wesley talked of how he wanted to study film and gave up because it was too competive and ended up majoring in design...

it sounded like me... ._.
Up until sophomore year in highschool I had wanted to study film and be a director because of the influence and guidance of my friend Alex, who at the time was doing so at UCLA. So I figured taking a Health CAM because Biology was pretty cool. Then came the idea of me thinking that I could be a doctor... XDDD.... =_=;;
I accidentally ended up taking an art class senior year and decided on majoring in apparel design...
Unfortunately when START happened I ended up chickening out, thinking that I wasn't able to do it and decided to just turn to science because it was something that was easy and reliable... like I did in high school.
To my dismay. this was definately not the case.
Almost an entire year of college has passed and I'm pretty sure that I don't want to be a nurse, doctor or scientist of any kind & that my first instinct is the best. so I turned back to design once again, but still unsure of what kind.

Just a few days ago, after thinking of all the different possibilities that design has to offer. I decided.

Graphic Design.

and funny thing...

This guy not only had a similar experience... he also had the same major..?!
"let me tell ya" I was pretty freaked out when he said so, thinking "WHAT. THE. GOODNESS. this sounds familiar...o.o"

uh oh...

I digressed ^^;;

for my final point- back to the nice guys of the night...!

At first glance, you'd really think they were just normal guys...
but after listening to them talk and present their videos to us...
you see that they really are like how they act in their videos- nerds with a passion for JT lipsyncing, designing t-shirts, rebuilding nerf guns, eating at Chipotle, and most importantly- making enjoyable videos for us...

Writing this, I came to realize: "Just do it."- no I am not intentionally copying Nike. -.-
Im just saying: if you like doing it. DO IT.
When we see so many people doing the things that they like to do- not only are they happy. they're also successful- because they have a passion for it...

Hopefully, I'll be able to do the same when I start my second year as a graphic design major next fall. ^^;;
Hopefully things go smoothly. Just like Wong Fu has happening for them at this moment. ^^

We stand by the sidelines only to see so many ordinaries become extra-ordinaries...

What's to stop us from becoming one, right? = )
